These terms govern your use of siderealcaveau.com. They do not govern any advisory engagement, which is a separate matter, agreed separately.
This site describes who we are and what we do. It is an introduction, not an offer, a solicitation, or a promise of service. Nothing here forms a contract between us.
Sidereal Caveau works by introduction, with a small number of collectors at a time. Writing to us begins a conversation and nothing more. No advisory relationship, duty, or obligation arises until we have both agreed one in writing. We may decline an enquiry without giving a reason.
Watches are objects, not securities, and nothing on this site is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. We do not represent that any piece will hold or increase in value. Where we counsel on what to acquire, hold, or let go, we do so as horological advisers on the merits of the object — condition, originality, provenance — and not as regulated financial advisers. Decisions, and their consequences, remain yours.
Where we act on your behalf, the terms of that work — fees, mandate, scope, and the handling of funds — are set out in a separate written agreement. As described on our site, transactions are settled through a licensed third-party escrow provider, and funds are never held by us. Those arrangements are governed by the escrow provider's own terms and by our engagement agreement, not by this page.
We take care with what we publish, but this site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
This site links to WhatsApp, so that you may reach us by that means if you prefer. We do not control that service and are not responsible for it or for its handling of your data.
The text, marks, and design of this site belong to Sidereal Caveau. You are welcome to read, quote briefly with attribution, and share the link. Please do not reproduce it wholesale or use our name or mark to suggest an association that does not exist.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may revise these terms. The date below tells you when they last changed; using the site after that date means you accept the revision.
