Discretion is the work. This page sets out plainly what happens to anything you share with us through this site.
Nothing, until you choose to write to us. This site sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage, and carries no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If you complete the enquiry form, you send us:
Only your name and email address are required — the rest is yours to withhold.
To reply to you, and to conduct the conversation you have begun. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Beyond these, your enquiry is seen only by us. Where a piece requires outside verification, we do not share your identity with a watchmaker, scholar, or specialist without your agreement.
Correspondence is retained for as long as our relationship, or a prospective one, reasonably requires, and thereafter only where records must be kept to meet legal or accounting obligations. You may ask us to erase your details at any time, subject to those obligations.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Write to enquiries@siderealcaveau.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
This site is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. For anything genuinely sensitive, we would rather speak with you directly.
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it. Material changes will be made plain rather than buried.
